Our office, was founded and run by Dr. Robert Baker since April of 1975, in Iron Mountain Michigan. Prior to this time the office was occupied by Dr. Dan DeLangis for a period of about 30 years. Dr. Robert Baker practiced few years at this location, then decided to move his practice to Drs Park on Crystal Lake. He practiced at his Crystal Lake office for over 35 years, when his son, Dr. Dane Baker decided to join the team in 2014. Dr. Dane made the decision in 2015 to open a large independent practice located at 1700 N Stephenson Avenue in Iron Mountain, MI. His practice currently resides in the formerly known Light House building on Iron Mountains historic north side. Dr. Dane and Dr. Robert Baker put their collective expertise together for their patients at this state of the art clinic.
We specialize in providing personalized eye care in a friendly and comfortable setting. Because trusting your vision to us is not something we take lightly, we maintain our clinic with state-of-the-art technology. Our doctors have graduated with honors from some of the best educational institutions in the nation and directly educate optometry student externs in our advanced clinical setting.
Our doctors are specially qualified to address visual needs from individualized contact lens fitting and custom progressive bifocals to managing cataracts, dry eye disease and macular degeneration; we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing vision for a lifetime, infancy through adulthood!
